Laptops for Kids

Schools are closed once again due to the coronavirus pandemic – and thousands of children in Birmingham are struggling to learn because they can’t take part in lessons without laptops.

Around 5,000 children across the city don’t have access to a computer. As a result, their education is being halted through no fault of their own.

By the time these youngsters return to school they will have fallen behind their peers, and some may struggle to catch up. Sadly, this can lead to mental health issues.

You can also help together with Birmingham’s Digital Education Partnership to enable you to help these children by simply donating money or an old laptop to those who need them
