Three more people charged with murder of Keon Lincoln

Detectives have this afternoon charged three teenagers with the murder of Keon Lincoln in Handsworth.

Kieron Donaldson, aged 18, of Aston Lane, Birmingham, and two 17-year-old boys from Birmingham – who cannot be identified due to their age – have been charged following their arrests yesterday.

The two boys have also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. All three have been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham magistrates court tomorrow (12 February).

They are accused of killing Keon – who suffered gunshot and stab wounds – in Linwood Road on Thursday 21 January.

A 21-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector Alastair Orencas, from our homicide unit, said: “These charges are a significant milestone in our investigation but we continue to leave no stone unturned to get justice for Keon.

“Our enquiries remain ongoing and we still need you to come forward and tell us what you know. It could prove crucial in this investigation.”
