Millions of people worldwide have been turning out to protest and voice their condemnation of the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the West Bank being carried out by the Illegal Occupation Entity.

The Palestinians have a recognized right under international law to resist Israeli occupation.This right is affirmed in the context of the right of self-determination of all peoples under foreign and colonial rule. The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has expressly affirmed the right of Palestinians to resist Israeli military occupation, including through armed struggle.

 

These last two months we have seen some of the worst atrocities that Palestinians have ever faced. In Gaza, Israel has murdered almost 18,000 Palestinians, including more than 7,000 children in the already besieged strip. In the West Bank where Palestinians live under a system of apartheid, 242 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military and settlers. This exceeds the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank the whole of last year.

Israel’s treatment of Palestinians is part of 75 years of ethnic cleasing, apartheid and occupation of the Palestinian people.

 At Friends of Al-Aqsa, we have been campaigning for a free Palestine for over 26 years, but we need your help more than ever to help grow and strengthen the movement for justice in Palestine.

We are going on our next volunteers drive where FOA’s Shamiul Joarder will tour various towns, cities and boroughs across the UK to bring people together who care about Palestine and who want to DO more.
