One of the world’s largest Vaisakhi celebrations is taking place in Birmingham this weekend – and that means there will be road closures in place.

There will be two processions on Sunday – one from Hockley in Birmingham, the other from Smethwick in the borough of Sandwell  – heading towards the site of a massive free festival in Handsworth Park.
